After four days and two completed rounds of the Australian Open 2012 only one Ukrainian player, 13th seeded Alexandr Dolgopolov, remains in the singles competition.  He faces a stiff test in the next round where he faces Australian Bernard Tomic who will be strongly supported by the local partisan crowd on Friday evening in Rod Laver Arena.
